Conservative daily news portal 'Postoj' (Attitude) introducing brand-new publication with a title Live Not by Lies from conservative author Rod Dreher. Author gathered reference materials from various sources and studies on dissident's lifes, even those from Slovakia.
According to his statement, the book is more controversial then his bestseller Benedict's choice as it conveys a message; faith in Christ church would inflict the suffering. Guest speakers ; Lukáš Krivošík from Conservative daily news Postoj, film-maker Timotej Križka a prist from archbishopric in Kosice Pavol Hrabovecký, will hold debate about this book.
Timotej Križka is a filmmaker and photographer whose main focus is exploring human identity in connection with inner freedom. He has created numerous films and visual essays, with his most significant work being the project Peaceful in Turmoil, which portrays the stories of political prisoners to show how one can truly be free and independent of external circumstances. He is married, has three children, and lives in Bratislava.
Pavol Hrabovecký je kňazom Košickej arcidiecézy a prodekanom Teologickej fakulty Katolíckej univerzity. Prednáša Fundamentálnu teológiu a Ekumenizmus. Venuje sa apologetike a štúdiu G.K. Chestertona, C.S. Lewisa, J.R.R. Tolkiena a J. H. Newmana. Donedávna pôsobil ako šéfredaktor časopisu Verbum - časopisu pre kresťanskú kultúru.
Lukáš Krivošík je redaktorom Konzervatívneho denníka Postoj. Predtým písal pre .týždeň a Aktuality.sk. Vyštudoval Právnickú fakultu Univerzity Komenského. Do slovenčiny preložil knihy „Neži v lži", „Pozor na každé slovo" a „Jordan Peterson, Boh a kresťanstvo". Je absolventom semestrálneho programu a člen Spoločenstva Ladislava Hanusa. Žije v Pezinku, je ženatý a má jedno dieťa. Zaujímajú ho nezamýšľané dôsledky účelových ľudských konaní.
He graduated in philosophy at Trnava University. He serves as the President of the Ladislav Hanus Fellowship and co-organizes the Bratislava / Košice Hanus days festival. He is the editor-in-chief of Verbum, a magazine for contemporary Christian culture. He also works as a script editor for the RTVS discussion program Do kríža and is also involved in civic activities, especially in the field of pro-life.
