Žijeme v časoch, kedy volanie po mieri prehlušuje hluk zbraní. Vojna na Ukrajine, v Gaze a mnohé ďalšie konflikty vo svete prinášajú deštrukciu a smrť. Anna Franková si do denníka počas 2. svetovej vojny napísala: „V ľuďoch je pud ničenia, masakrovania, vraždenia, zúrivosti, a kým celé ľudstvo bez výnimky neprejde metamorfózou, bude zúriť vojna..." Ako je na tom ľudstvo dnes? Nevzďaľujeme sa pasívnym prijímaním vojny stále viac od historickej lekcie 20. storočia? Čo sa musí stať, aby sme prešli premenou? Ako zabrániť vojne a nastoliť mier? Skutočný mier? A aké poslanie by malo mať vo vojne náboženstvo?
Diskusia nadväzuje na publikáciu najnovšej knihy talianskeho historika a zakladateľa Komunity Sant’Egidio Andrea Riccardiho: Volanie po mieri.
