"Late have I loved you, Beauty so ancient and so new, late have I loved you! ... You called, shouted, broke through my deafness; you flared, blazed, banished my blindness; you lavished your fragrance, I gasped; and now I pant for you; I tasted you, and now I hunger and thirst;..." Augustine's words from the Confessions point to the fragility of man, his longings for beauty, fulfillment, and God, but also to his limitations, inner struggles, and insecurities.
Our invitation was accepted by two justly acclaimed musician couples at the intersection of the Christian and secular worlds. Through music and words, they will express beauty as they perceive it. Or is there only one beauty? "You touched me, and I burned with longing for your peace..." Our guests will be spouses Jana and Lukáš Zubaj, who will play songs from their upcoming album, and a couple Kristína Mihaľová with Jakub Šedivý, whose album Sleepin' With the Lights On won Debut of the year at the Radio_Head Awards last year.
