Catholic Creators and the New Digital Evangelization

A talk by the co-founder of Hallow, the world’s most popular Catholic prayer app, about how to evangelize in the age of the internet.
  • What is the mission of laypeople in the digital age?
  • How can we bring Christ's message to the pulse of modern life?
  • How can we distinguish the spreading of true divine love from the false monetization of faith?

This year, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, we will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the conclusion of the Second Vatican Council. How have we fulfilled Lumen Gentium's pastoral admonition to the lay faithful to take a more active role in the Church? Have we answered the universal call to holiness? Have we taken seriously St. Paul's warning, echoed in Lumen Gentium, "Woe to me, if I do not preach the Gospel"? In an age when well more than half of the world's global population has access to the internet, how can Catholic creators be faithful to the Gospel and pull people into an authentic—rather than a digital and counterfeit—encounter with Divine Love?
